I am the Chief Creative & Technology Officer at Girl Effect, an international NGO founded by the Nike Foundation, leading the design and deployment of AI-powered health and wellbeing products that reach millions of adolescents across Africa and South Asia. A first-generation Mexican American and Indigenous Pueblo American, I’m driven by a personal commitment to equity, using technology, storytelling, and human-centered design to create trusted, impactful experiences for underserved communities. My work spans AI companions, chatbots, and interactive media, combining innovation, empathy, and evidence-based insights to empower users and expand choices at scale.
